Chanukah is the holiday of light, a holiday that symbolizes the power of light against darkness. A little light repels a lot of darkness.

This Menorah is placed in front of the United Nations throughout Chanukah in order to remind us the importance of nations being united with light, with good, and with the light of the seven commandments of the sons of Noah.

The chanukkah menorah is located at 43rd Street and First Avenue, Next to the wall on it is written the verse of Ishaya: "They shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks nation shall not lift up sword against nation neither shall they learn war any more"
