The Guatemala Government

It happened on a clear day, October 29, 2021. I came to my office as usual and found a letter. The Government of Guatemala sent a letter of blessing on the occasion of the completion of translating the 7th book of Maimonides from Hebrew to Spanish. The translation was done by rabbi Mordechai Segal who works to this day translating the work of the Maimonides.

The books of the Maimonides have never been translated to Spanish. the effort of rabbi Mordechai Segal translating the books to Spanish made a strong impression on the 21 countries that speak Spanish. And this is the reason why i received this letter. i hurried to read the letter, and was pleasantly surprised to see what the government of Guatemala wrote about the Lubavitcher Rebbe. one of the things they wrote in the letter, and i quote "Maimonides was a unique person. and for many centuries there was not on like him. only in the last century did someone emerge comparable as the Maimonides. the Lubavitcher Rebbe, rabbi Menachem Mendel Shneurson"
